Endpoint Performance Configuration

The performance configuration provides the ability to tune settings related to utilization and performance of sensors deployed in the environment.

The Performance configuration includes the following settings.

Offline storage maximum DB size	1000 MB	1000 - 5000 MB	The maximum size of the event storage database, used to store events when the sensor is unable to contact the platform.
File info cache size	1000 MB	1000 - 5000 MB	The maximum size of the local cache of information for content inspection results.
Offline storage minimum free disk space	1000 MB	1000 - 500,000 MB	The minimum disk space that must remain available before the sensor stops adding new events to the offline storage database.
Scaling factor	0	0 - 10	Allows a scaled increase in utilized memory when the sensor is deployed in VDI environments.
Default HTTP timeout	60 seconds	60 - 120 seconds	The default timeout used for connections from the sensor to the platform.
