Data Pattern
Data Pattern labels surface results from Cyberhaven content inspection so you can see which regulated or sensitive patterns matched (for example, PII or PCI rules). In DSPM EA the labels mirror your enabled content inspection policies which means, when a policy matches, the label with the same name is applied.

What you can do
- Enable or adjust content inspection policies. Any active policy can emit a Data Pattern label when it finds a match.
- Review the matched pattern labels to see precisely which rules were triggered by a file or object.
- Combine pattern labels with Data Type or Data Provenance when defining Data Sensitivity or custom label set logic.
Limitations
- Pattern labels are generated automatically from existing policies. There is no separate tuning flow for Data Pattern in EA.
- Label names stay in sync with the matching content inspection policy names to make cross references easy.
