Syncronized Document Tags
The Synced Document Labels tab is only available when you have Microsoft Purview cloud sensor configured. This tab provides a read-only view of all Microsoft Sensitivity Labels that have been automatically synced from your Microsoft Purview account. The system automatically reads all labels when you connect a Purview instance using the Cyberhaven Cloud Sensor.
Synced labels can only be detected by Endpoint Sensor version 25.08 or later.
The labels are synced periodically (every 2 hours) via API.
You can view the instances of Purview configured in the console. The following details are displayed for each instance.
- Instance: The name of the Microsoft Purview instance.
- Domain: The domain associated with the configured instance (e.g., cyberhaven.co).
- Labels: The total number of labels synced from the instance.
- Last Synced: The timestamp of the last successful sync.
Each instance can be expanded to see all the labels and sub-labels discovered through the integration that the endpoint and cloud sensors will now identify in the documents. The following information is displayed:
- Label Display Name: The name of the label as seen by users in applications like MS Word.
- Description: A description of the label.
- GUID: The unique identifier for each label.
- Label Priority: A numerical value used to indicate the priority of a label as defined in your Microsoft Purview instance. A higher number indicates a higher priority.
- Scope: The scope of the label as defined in your Microsoft Purview instance, which can include files, emails, meetings, and groups & sites.
The synced tags are not editable within the Cyberhaven Console.
