Search by Source
The Search by Source section on the Risks Overview page displays a summary of your configured datasets and the number of policy matches for each dataset.
Datasets and Classification
- A dataset classifies distinct types of data—structured or unstructured—so Cyberhaven can identify them when applied to a policy.
- Datasets can be based on context, content, or tags. For example, you can create a dataset for a website or network-shared folder that matches a specific domain or pattern.
Sensitivity Ratings
- Administrators assign a sensitivity rating to categorize the data associated with a dataset.
- When defining a dataset, choose from five sensitivity levels:
- Critical
- High
- Moderate
- Low
- Unrestricted
- Policies using the dataset can also be assigned a severity rating (see Protection Policies).
- You can edit sensitivity ratings and apply the changes to historical events; the new rating cascades to copies and derivatives. Incidents, however, are not created retroactively for historical changes.
Locations
- Location describes the medium through which data moves: email, cloud storage, cloud apps, websites, network shares, endpoints, specific endpoint applications, removable media, or printers.
Creating and Managing Datasets
- Create, edit, and manage datasets in the Object Management section of the console.
- For step-by-step instructions, see Datasets (User Guide).
