Search by Destination

The Search by Destination section on the Risks Overview page displays a summary of your configured policies and the number of events that match each policy.

How Policies Work in Risks Overview

• A policy links datasets to defined rules, controlling how data moves across destinations.
• When data matches a linked dataset, Cyberhaven automatically evaluates the corresponding policy.
• Policies are enforced at the data destination: actions such as copy-paste, upload, download, email attachment, or transfers to cloud storage/removable media trigger the policy.
• Example: For critical business data stored in SharePoint, you can configure a policy that educates or alerts users when they attempt to move data to unauthorized locations.
• Cyberhaven responds in real time, taking actions consistent with the policy settings.

Creating and Managing Policies

• Policy creation, editing, and management occur in the Object Management section of the console.
