Lists

This article explains how to create and manage lists of string values on the Object Management > Lists tab.

Adding a New List

  1. Click Add New List.
  2. Enter a name for the list and a description.
  3. Enter the string values in the text box, or import a list from a text file.
  4. Click Save to finish creating the list.

If your list has extra spaces or lines, you will be prompted to either keep them or allow Cyberhaven to trim them before saving.

Importing and Exporting Lists

  • You can import and export lists as text files from the list details pane.
  • When you add a new list or select an existing list, the list details are displayed on the right pane.
  • Click the Actions drop-down menu to select Import text file (.txt) or Export text file (.txt).
  • You can import a text file into a new list or include it within an existing list.

Managing Existing Lists

The table displays all the configured lists, and you can click on a row to modify a list.

List Actions

  • View and edit: Opens the list page to display the current configuration and performance details.
  • Duplicate: Clicking the Duplicate button creates a copy of the existing list. When you edit a duplicate list, Cyberhaven validates it for extra spaces and lines, and you will be prompted to either keep or trim them before saving.
  • Delete: The list is permanently deleted from this page.

Note Lists that are currently in use within a dataset or policy cannot be deleted.

Critical Setup Note (List Size Limit)

Cyberhaven has a limit of 500K entries for all lists combined.
